This large-scale art installation was custom-designed for a high-end real estate sales center in Asia. Like an organic breath, it floats above the space, capturing the ephemeral essence of forest light and drifting clouds. Suspended in an over 8-meter-high atrium, the work unfolds in layers, weaving translucent materials into a poetic interplay of shadow and illumination.
Comprising hundreds of individually cut stainless steel mesh petals, each piece is painstakingly hand-shaped and thermally fixed to mimic the graceful form and subtle texture of natural leaves. While rooted in industrial material, the finished composition exudes a textile-like softness—marrying structural strength with an ethereal, weightless beauty.
The lighting was thoughtfully orchestrated through calibrated ceiling strips, with carefully tuned color temperature and directionality. This allows the installation to shift dramatically between day and night: in daylight, it resembles sunbeams through trees; by night, it transforms into a dreamlike drift of green-tinted clouds in quiet motion.
From digital modeling to fabrication and on-site assembly, SAYUNIXA provided a fully integrated solution. Through algorithmic layout control and real-time structural adaptation, we achieved a seamless fusion of artwork and architecture—transforming the installation into a sensory dialogue between built environment and natural spirit.
