Commissioned by an exclusive sensual club in France, SAYUNIXA was invited to design a lighting piece that merges opulent visual language with a deeply intimate atmosphere. The result is Feathered Luminance — a sensorial installation where light, texture, and desire dance in quiet harmony.
Inspired by the delicate poise of a ballerina’s skirt and the organic flow of feathers in motion, each light is built around a sculptural brass frame. The hand-shaped brass curves upward like growing branches or poised limbs, exuding an elegant tension. At their tips, carefully selected ostrich feathers are layered with precision—soft, cascading, and weightless—like a bloom caught in perpetual flourish.
As the feathers shift gently in the air, the light filters through in a warm, diffused glow. It is not light for illumination—it is light for seduction. It caresses rather than declares, whispers rather than shines. Every flicker is a gesture, every shadow a suggestion.
Feathered Luminance is more than a fixture; it is a spatial language—
a tactile experience that dissolves the boundaries between light and mood, presence and intimacy.
Within this private club, the piece becomes an unspoken script:
it does not speak, yet you can hear desire breathing through it.
