Presented as part of a European exhibition exploring spatial perception and material transformation, The Suspended Souls is a sculptural trilogy of suspended forms—each hovering between matter and emotion, stillness and movement.
Composed of steel, mesh, and fabric, the series reveals how softness and strength can coexist, and how material becomes medium for thought and tension.
Tethered Bloom
Crafted from Tyvek® and stainless steel, this cobalt-and-bronze floral form is captured in mid-expansion.
Its layered petals arc and fold like waves frozen in motion—a moment of becoming held aloft.
Here, delicacy and resilience bloom in perfect suspension.
Drift / Ether
Formed from ultra-fine metallic fiber mesh and stainless steel, this cloudlike structure floats as if weightless.
It appears and disappears with the light, mimicking breath, vapor, or drifting memory.
It is both structure and atmosphere—a meditation on presence and disappearance.
Ruby Fume
A vivid eruption of red crafted from stainless steel and metallic mesh.
Its twisted contours evoke rising smoke, fire, or passion in motion.
Raw and radiant, it captures the heat of emotion at the edge of form.
Together, these three works compose a silent choreography of space—
a dialogue between gravity and grace, tension and release, structure and sensation.
As viewers move beneath and around them, the forms unfold like suspended thoughts:
hovering, shifting, echoing in silence.
